From Fall to Spring, Trout fishing is the best water recreation in this area. The bass fishing ain't too bad either!
The Landa Park Golf Course began in 1938, when it was a mere 9 hole course in the historic and gorgeous Landa Park. Since then it has expanded 52 acres and become the 18 hole course it is today. Now visitors are treated to a renovated clubhouse and pro shop as well as the 19th hole grill, meeting rooms and a big screen TV.

Come explore the wonderful wilderness and an excellent example of the faults in the Edwards Limestone. The moderate hike is 1.6 miles roundtrip and the trail slopes gently through the Balcones Escarpment. Stop for a breath and read the informative placards that line the trail.

The park is located on Hinman Island Drive, between Landa Park and Prince Solms Park and closes at midnight.
Landa Park is situated next to Comal Springs and Landa Lake and people flock here to relax under the shade of it's giant oak trees or rent a paddle boat for an afternoon. Take a walk or jog on the special trails, or ride a miniature train that chugs around the 51 acre park. You'll find both locals and tourists participating in a fun round of miniature golf, or just relaxing at the playground and enjoying the flora and fauna on the Panther Canyon Nature Trail.
